2. From What Sources Is My Information Collected?

Primarily, personal data is collected from the user themselves when making a contract, order, or registration, or later during the customer relationship. We can also collect observed data on how the user uses our services using the techniques described below. Additionally, we collect information from the Population Information System and other similar public or private registers (e.g., Suomen Asiakastieto Oy credit register). We process personal data only for predefined purposes, mainly the following:

4. How Is My Information Stored and Protected?

We process and store the information provided by the user, which can identify the customer (such as profile and contact information) and information observed and derived from the use of the service securely. We use necessary technical and organizational security measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, disclosure, destruction, or other unauthorized processing. These measures include using firewalls, encryption techniques, secure facilities, appropriate access control, controlled granting and monitoring of usage rights, encryption techniques, instructing personnel involved in handling personal data, and careful selection of subcontractors.

5. How Long Is My Information Stored?

We retain user information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes defined in Section 3, in accordance with the current legislation. We retain information until the termination of the customer relationship and only as long as necessary to fulfill our legal obligations. The marketing register is valid for one year from the previous action. In some service communication sections, such as discussion forums and public feedback, the user's nickname and related user-generated content may remain visible even after the customer relationship ends. Additionally, we may be obliged to retain some user personal data to comply with accounting or other mandatory legislation after the end of the customer relationship or other basis for personal data processing.
